Fifty excited Southwold Minis Players took to the pitch to form the Guard of Honour for Saracens-v-Leicester at Allianz Park on Sunday. The Players did themselves and the Club proud; sporting Tour Shirts and a few OddBall hats to welcome the teams onto the pitch for the game - which was showing live on TV.
Early on Sunday morning two coaches had departed Southwold for North London. Over 100 Minis Players and their Parents were hosted at Allianz Park by Saracens where 'Wold Minis joined in a training session led by Saracens Academy Players. As the sun lowered and the temperature plummeted spirits were high on the pitch and our Minis went toe-to-toe with Sarrie the Camel as they jostled for position in the Guard of Honour.
Training on the Common had stood everyone in good stead as the Beast from the East made things positively Baltic during the game. Thanks to all at Saracens - a great day enjoy by all.
