1. Welcome to the Clubhouse!


Our clubhouse, the splendid 'William Godell Pavilion' on Southwold Common, is now available for hire. The excellent club room (170sqm), with views over the common & Sole Bay, is suitable for a range of activities including Weddings, Birthdays, Dinners, Business meetings, Seminars, Receptions as well as Keep-fit, Dance and Yoga classes.

The clubhouse has all the amenities you would expect from a quality function suite. Bar & catering facilities are also available and there is more than ample parking. All this for a very reasonable hire charge.

Indicative rates for hiring the clubhouse are from £40 per hour, from £10 per hour for bar staff and from £50 for use of kitchen. If you having a party then it's £350 for the night (£250 for paid up members). If you are planning a wedding and need access all weekend please allow a £750 hire fee. Please note that weekend parties during the season is from 7pm and guests must vacate by 11.30pm.

Whatever your meal choice, our catering team can cook for all your needs from starter through to desserts or if you're looking for something more simple.... finger buffets. The choice is yours.
